Anglian Language

in progess

The Anglian Language (Anglesprek) is a West Germanic language native to the Kingdom of Norþangland in northern England. Anglian became isolated from Old English in the late 6th Century, and was thus unaffected by the Norman Conquest. This means it has retained more Germanic traits than its modern counterpart, especially in terms of vocabulary and word order; this means that Anglian is more mutually intelligible with modern Frisian than modern English.
