Flag of the Kingdom of Argentina

The Kingdom of Argentina was one of the independent kingdoms in South America during the reign of the first king emperors of Nonopartia. The Kingdom of Argentina is the result of a national movement that wanted to move the country from a republic to a constitutional monarchy following a global monarchist uprising in the first years of the Third Millenium, a movement that would bring a new age of gold to the humanity.

History

Argentina was born as an independent country in 1816 when the nationalists declared the independence from the kingdom of Spain, Argentina then grew older as a republican country, it would have almost two centuries under this government, that would prove to be very corrupt and threatened by constant militar uprisings, the most famous being that of the dictator Juan Peron in the 60's and 70's.

A series of very deep and tragic economic crisis in the 90's and the first years of the 2000's would bring the public opinion to be very angry with the republicanism, and after some countries as Mexico adopted a new monarchy, the people from Argentina asked the government for a referendum in order to restore the Bourbon's in Argentina. The monarchist referendum took place on april 29th, 2009.

Following a very intense journy during the referendum, the decision of the people of Argentina was very clear, when it was announced that 90% of the electorate had voted, and 79% of those voted in favor of the monarchy, immediattely the republican government didn't recognize the results and a civil uprising took place, the president Nestor Kirchner was then sent to the jail of Buenos Aires, a Junta Real was proclaimed in order to bring a king with Bourbon blood to reign the new kingdom.

Argentina was oficially proclaimed as a Monarchy on august 1st, 2009, and the provissional Junta asked the Prince Lorenz Otto Carl Habsburg, Archduke of Austria-Este, Duke of Montpensier and Modena to accept the crown of Argentina. The archduke had Bourbon ascendency and he accepted the crown in august 5th arriving to Argentina two days later, on august 13th he was oficially proclaimed Lorenzo I King of Argentina a new era was born in Argentina.

The monarchy would prove to be very succesfull in Argentina, improving the life ot the population and getting the country into a new era of progress. Lorenzo I would be king of Argentina until 2033 when he died and then being succeeded by his eldest son, who would be crowned as Amadeo I de Argentina. The relations with Nonopartia under his government would go very weak and even would be hostile.

Argentina would be one of the last independent countries in the world appart from Nonopartia. The nation would be reigned by the following kings:

  1. Lorenzo I 2009-2033
  2. Amadeo I 2033-2073
  3. Lorenzo II 2073-2101
  4. Lorenzo III 2101-2154
  5. Amadeo II 2154-2198
  6. Isabel I 2198-2216
  7. Amadeo III 2216-2217 (Abdicated for the Nonoparthian annexation)
  8. Amadeo III 2240-2242 (Restored)
  9. Lorenzo IV 2242-2279
  10. Isabel II 2279-2311 (Argentina ends)

Relation with Nonopartia

The relation between Argentina and Nonopartia would be one of the most difficult in the world, first when Lorenzo I was king, he and the king emperor Carlos I of Nonopartia had a very good relation, but when Amadeo I was crowned, relation between both countries were very bad, at the point that during the Arab-Nonoparthian war of 2043-2048 Argentina refused to help Nonopartia and even some historians are sure that Argentina sended aid to Arabia. Argentina was annexed by Nonopartia until 2217, but it secceeded again in 2240, and remained independent until 2311 when it was annexed again however permannently.
