The Kingdom of Chile was one of the independent kingdoms in South America during the reign of the first king emperors of Nonopartia. The kingdom of Chile was born in the middle of a civil war that erupted in the country after the president Michelle Bachellet installed economic policies that moved the country towards the socialism. The already installed king of Argentina, Lorenzo I sent troops to try to occupy the country and annex it to the kingdom of Argentina, but at the end with the help of the Mexican Empire, an independent kingdom was installed with a member of a different branch of the Bourbon dinasty as king.

History

The territory of Chile was first occupied by amerindians like the mapuches but in the Sixteenth Century it was occupied by the spaniards, the age of colonialism would last three centuries until the begginning of the Eighteenth Century when the first independentist movements began, the royalists were beaten in 1817 and the Republic of Chile was proclaimed in 1818.

The republic would govern upon the country until the first years of the XXIst century, even though Chile was one of the most developed countries in Latin America, the militarism and the dictators as Augusto Pinochet would prove that the republic didn't worked in this lattitudes of the Earth. In 2008 the then president Michelle Bachelet installed a deep change in the economics towards the socialism, soon people from all arround the country arose against the government.

The disturbs were so much and were already out of control, leading to a Civil War. The new king of Argentina, Lorenzo I Bourbon then saw an opportunity to add the territory of Chile to his new kingdom, with the support of the Mexican Empire he invaded Chile, but the Brazilian emperor said that he would not recognize Lorenzo I as king of Chile, so in april 21st, 2010 an independent Kingdom of Chile was proclaimed.

With seventy-two years of age the Duke of Calabria, don Carlos, was called to reign upon the new country, as the senior available heir to Ferdinand VII of Spain the last Bourbon king that ruled in Chile. In may 1st, don Carlos was crowned as Carlos I of Bourbon, King of Chile, the new kingdom was consolidated, and the Bourbon family was now again very spread in the world ruling several realms.

Chile then entered in a new age of development and progress. The king Carlos I of Bourbon would be in the throne until the year 2018, and then would be succeeded by his son don Pedro I. The Kingdom of Chile would be one of the first to recognize the Nonoparthian Federal Empire in the year 2020 as the succesor state to Mexico and Scandinavia.

Chile would be one of the last independent countries in the world appart from Nonopartia. The nation would be reigned by the following kings:

Alejandro I: 2109-2149
Carlos III: 2149-2210
Alejandro II: 2210-2217 (Abdicated for the first Nonoparthian annexation)

Alejandro III: 2271-2311 (Chile annexed permanently to Nonopartia)

Relation with Nonopartia

The relation between Chile and Nonopartia was one of the most easy and well done during the reign of the first three monarchs of Nonopartia, but when Carlos IV invaded the country and declared that it was part of Nonopartia in 2217, the Royal Family fled first to the United Kingdom of America and after this country was annexed to Nonopartia, they went to live to Kleinfeld. After the american kingdoms began to seceed again from the Federal Empire, the Royal Family came back and organized a movement to free Chile, the kingdom would be independent again from 2240 to 2311, in this year Carlos VI re conquered Chile, now the territory would be part of Nonopartia forever.
