Edward I (Labwese: Edvardu I, Latin: Eduardus I) was the nineteenth king of Keltsvia and descendant of Urseku. His nickname was "The Old".

Early life

Edward was the youngest son the King of Keltsvia Anthony VII and his wife Maria, a daughter of Borrell II, the Count of Barcelona. The rule of his father was peaceful for the Kingdom of Keltsvia and he made a peace treaty with Poland. Because the small Kingdom became an enclave of Poland. By action of his father, on 978, Edward married Bolesława, daughter of Mieszko I, the first king of Poland. Edward had from her the following children: Anthony (b. 978), Mary (b. 980), Edward (b. 981) and Dobrawa (b. 985). On 995, Anthony VII of Keltsvia died and Edward was the following king as Edward I.

Edward I rule

The rule of Edward I was peaceful also and he established a good relationship with the Kingdom of Poland, creating a strong alliance between Urseku and Piast dinasties. Edward I died after his first son did, so his son Edward was the next king on the year 1027.
