The Duchy of Haeckenrode is a micronation established on 26th January, 2010, ruled by its Baron. The current Baron will execute all state affairs until his twin sons are old enough to rule Haeckenrode themselves. When they are, they are supposed to reign Haeckenrode in accordance with each other

The Duchy of Haeckenrode is a state under the Montevideo Convention.

a) a permanent population Haeck Red is always at least inhabited by the Duke and his family.

b) A defined territory Haeck Red is located on the territory owned by the reigning head of state.

c) Government The head of state is a government that governs and manages the Duchy.

d) The ability to be associated with other states

Haerloheim is open to be associated with other states.

On February 14, 2010 Red Haeck has joined the United Nations Micro Multi-Oceanic Archipelago (UMMOA).
