Onilândia (or Onilandia) is a fictitious micronation founded by wealthy Brazilians in a large desert island in the North Atlantic Ocean. Posssui two cities: Onis, the country's capital, where government business is discussed, and is the home of its founders and guests (though many ordinary people also live there). The other city is Beland, where he concedes most of the population, made up of Brazilians. Beland is considered a global metropolis, it has 4 million inhabitants. Oni is also considered a metropolis, with 1 million inhabitants. Onilândia has a relatively strong economy with a GDP of U$3 billion and a standard of living comparable to western European countries (like UK, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and others). It has an HDI of 0.856 (2010).

A group of wealthy Brazilians (about 20 millionaires and 2 billionaires) in several regions of Brazil joined forces with the aim of forming an independent nation on a large island in the North Atlantic. They agreed to send guards to protect the island as uninhabited. The island was a moderately cold climate, with a varied vegetation, but in general were vast grasslands with few trees. After two years of discussions, and investments to guard the island, the Brazilian group finally flew to the island. Tradução do português para inglês Taking too much material, they founded the town of Onion, which would be the country's capital, and organized guest houses for people who would live in the capital first. Later the people of Onion grew and reached 2000 inhabitants. the government banned the construction of homes and shops and founded the city of Belândia, on the other side of the island. Thus, for five years, concentrated population growth there. That year, Beland had a population comparable to the Onion, but just ordinary citizens. Onilândia had a population of approximately 4000. The absolute independence of Onilândia was recognized one year later. Four years later she became a member of the UN and NATO. After all this happens, the population of Beland is already around 18,000. After 20 years, was allowed to build more settlements in Onis, which quickly led the city to reach 500,000 inhabitants. That same year, the population of Beland was 1,5 million and Onis has 500,000 people. Sixty years after its founding, Onilândia is one of the world's most influential contries. It is one of the countries with the largest ethnic and religious diversity of the world, as well as one of the most developed nations in the planet. At that time, its population is now 3,5 million (At that time, its population is now 3,500,000 (1,000,000 to 2,500,000 in Onis and Beland). Five years later the government realized that Onilândia population was concentrated only in Onis and Belândia, and had a large and fertile uninhabited coast. And then built small communities in these coastal areas, and the total, amounted to a population of 500,000. inhabitants. It's been over 40 years and the Belândia population grew rapidly. Grew over one million, totaling 4 million. And then finally became a great metropolis. It made the Onilândia national population reaches 5 million. And the government has created an area of central preservalão the limits of the island and prohibited any construction there. Today Onilândia is one of the most influential and developed nations of the world. But the country is both small and sparsely populated. Population growth is much slower than in previous years.

National Symbols

When it was founded, Onilândia also adopted national symbols and uses them today. It has a flag, a national seal, a motto and a national anthem.

The flag it is a rectangle with horizontal stripes. It has a track upstairs, another downstairs and two smaller central bands.

  • The range top, blue represents freedom (religious and expressive) and development.
  • The band left center, in yellow, represents the work, since yellow is the symbol of the sun each morning, that people wake up and go to work.
  • The strip center right, white represents peace.
  • The range of low, orange, depicting the history of Onilândia and development periods. This track is down because it is believed that these days "have passed."

The national seal is a circle outlined in black, with the central part of the flag on top of Onilândia escritutas and the "Republic of Onilândia" underneath, along with symmetrical designs.

The national motto is "For freedom and the progress". Some believe that the motto is similar to Brazil's motto, "Order and Progress."

The national anthem of Onilândia is called "My beautiful and free country" and was written by Francisco Paulo Soares.
